Dreaming and Worldbuilding Game

powerfolder cards - 3 (4).png

The powerholder edition of the Dreaming & Worldbuilding game is a collaboratively developed version designed for leaders and decision-makers. It invites powerholders to step into our collective responsibility, and power: to listen deeply, be guided by emerging visions and possibilities, and align our roles, resources, and influence to support and expand the worlds already taking shape—bringing them into a flourishing, joyful, and lasting reality.

Begin to Dream and Worldbuild

The Dreaming & Worldbuilding Game is designed as a collective experience—facilitated by one or more people, documented by observers, and open to anyone who dares to dream and build new worlds. The guidebook offers support and practical tips for playing the game.

We recommend printing in color and cutting along the white space. You may leave the card backs blank or create your own. For clarity, print World and Role & Commitment cards on different colored or textured paper. Adjust and use in ways that are accessible, relevant, and meaningful to your community.

The original Dreaming & Worldbuilding Game was developed by Kruthika N.S. during her art residency with Our Collective Practice, inspired by and conceptually grounded in the More&More framework. It was reviewed and piloted by Asha Athman, Augustina Mihaela Vasile, Banan AbuZainEddin, Gabrielle Bailey, Jimena Alejandra Aon, Juliana Roman Lozano, Nyawira Wahito, Priyanka Samy, Purity Kagwiria, and Zeedah Meierhofer-Mangel. It was developed in deep collaboration with hundreds of girls and young feminists from across diverse communities who said yes to the invitation to dream and worldbuild with us—helping us test and refine earlier versions of the game.

The game has been facilitated in over eight countries—Argentina, India, Georgia, Jordan, Kenya, Romania, Tanzania, and Turtle Island (U.S.)—in collaboration with community-led groups and organizations. Shaped by the surreal dreamscapes and expansive visions of girls and young feminists across the globe, the game not only stretched the imagination but also revealed powerful insights into the values they hold most dear and what becomes possible when we step into collective dreaming. A selection of these dreams came to life in Kruthika’s final residency exhibit—an immersive installation featuring textile collage, film, and storytelling.
